Josie turns 1

I'm so excited about this new project I'm starting (and hoping I can keep up with!).  It was inspired by my friend Amy Earl of Simply B Photos and is called 52 Dresses.

I decided that after having 3 little girls and so many cute clothes that each one of them wore, I would make patchwork quilt out of some their outfits.  But what to do with all those dresses?!  It would be a shame to cut them up but I wanted a keepsake of these beautiful little gems.  So, I decided to spend a few minutes each week documenting these dresses thru my passion of photography.  Plus, it gives me a good excuse (as if I needed one!) to practice with some of my new gear.

Josie turned one this week and I decided to snap a picture of her in one of my favorite sweet little dresses that all three girls wore.  It's a cute little white number that their Granny Dickerson bought for Abby when she as a just a little lady.

I hope you enjoy this project as much as I am going to.  Look for us each week in a different snazzy little dress.
